1. Information We Collect

iOS Application

• Device Identifier: We collect your device's vendor identifier (identifierForVendor) solely to authenticate your device and provide access to the app's content. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity and is not shared with third parties.
• Voice Preference: Your audio voice preference (male or female) is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Cached Content: Learning content, audio, and images are cached locally on your device for offline access. This data stays on your device.

Website

• Log Comments: If you leave a comment on a log entry, we collect your display name (required) and email address (optional), along with the comment content. Your email is never displayed publicly.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, financial information, browsing history, or any other personal data. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or track you across apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Device Identifier: Used exclusively to generate an authentication token so your device can access learning content through the API.
• Comment Data: Used solely to display your comment on the relevant log entry.

4. Third-Party Services

• Vercel Analytics: Our website uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated page-view data. It does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
• OpenAI: We use OpenAI to generate educational content (text, audio, and images). No user data is sent to OpenAI — only content generation prompts.
• Cloudflare R2: We store AI-generated audio and image assets on Cloudflare R2. No user data is stored there.

5. Cookies

Our website does not set cookies for public visitors. A session cookie is used only for authenticated administrator access to the content management dashboard.

6. Data Sharing & Selling

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not display advertisements.

7. Data Retention

Device authentication tokens expire after 90 days, after which a new token is generated automatically. Log comments are retained as long as the associated log entry exists. You may request deletion of your comments by contacting us.

8. Data Security

Authentication tokens on iOS are stored in the device Keychain. All network communications use HTTPS encryption. Admin passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app collects only a device identifier for authentication and does not require account creation.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
